Examination Process At Shish Pal Singh Convent School
1. Examination Pattern
The school conducts assessments in accordance with the CBSE curriculum, including:
- Periodic Tests (PTs) – Held throughout the year to assess continuous progress.
- Half-Yearly Examination – Conducted in September for all classes.
- Pre-Board Examination – For Class 10th & 12th students to prepare for CBSE Board Exams.
- Annual Examination (Final Exam) – Conducted in March for all classes.
2. Examination Guidelines
- Students must reach the examination hall 15 minutes before the scheduled time.
- No student will be allowed to enter the exam hall 10 minutes after the exam starts.
- Students must bring their own stationery; borrowing during the exam is not allowed.
- Use of unfair means (cheating, copying, talking) will lead to strict disciplinary action.
- Mobile phones, smartwatches, and other electronic devices are strictly prohibited during exams.

3. Promotion Policy
- Students must obtain at least 33% marks in each subject to be promoted.
- Attendance below 75% may result in disqualification from exams unless permitted by the school management.
- In case of failure in one or two subjects, students may be given a supplementary exam.
- No student will be promoted based solely on re-evaluation or requests from parents.
4. Revaluation & Improvement
- If a student has doubts about their marks, they can apply for rechecking within one week after results are declared.
- CBSE board students can appear for Improvement Exams to enhance their scores.
